Creator Agreement

Creators must be legally able to provide services and must keep profile, identity, availability, audience, experience, portfolio, and payout information accurate. Do not present another person's work or make unsupported performance claims.

Creators must be at least 18 years old. By creating a creator account you confirm you are 18 or older. Chozea stores your birth year only to confirm this and may close accounts that do not meet the requirement.

Creators provide services independently. They are not employees, partners, agents, franchisees, or representatives of Chozea solely because they use the platform. Creators control whether to apply for or accept a collaboration, subject to accepted deal terms.

Applications must be honest and campaign-specific. AI assistance may help draft an application, but creators must review it and remain responsible for every claim, proposed rate, concept, and commitment.

Before accepting, creators must review the displayed compensation, deliverables, deadlines, revisions, usage rights, licensing, posting requirements, raw footage, content length, platforms, and other campaign obligations. Accepted deal terms govern that collaboration and become read-only in Chozea.

Chozea's creator platform fee is currently 0%. Creators keep 100% of agreed creator compensation. This does not mean taxes, processor charges, bank fees, currency conversion, or legally required deductions can never apply.

Payment is eligible for release only after applicable project requirements are met. Payout timing may be affected by processor or bank timing, verification, fraud or security review, legal requirements, or payment disputes.

1 free revision included on every video. For new video deals, your agreed rate includes one revision within the written brief per video. Additional work or revisions beyond the accepted allowance require agreement. Existing accepted deal terms are unchanged. This included revision does not replace the separate Brand Guarantee remedy for a video that still does not match the written brief after 2 revisions.

• Meet the agreed deadlines and specifications.
• Submit original, lawful, usable work through the project workspace.
• Respond to revision requests within the accepted revision allowance.
• Do not overwrite version history or represent unapproved work as approved.
• Follow agreed posting, platform, content-length, raw-footage, and campaign requirements.

After you submit every required deliverable, the brand has 7 days to approve, request a revision, or open a dispute. If the brand does nothing within 7 days, your work is approved automatically and the funded payment is released to your payout account. A revision request pauses the window and a new 7-day window starts when you resubmit. If the brand opens a dispute, automatic release stops and Chozea reviews the project and decides whether the payment is released to you or refunded to the brand.

Creators must own or have permission to use portfolio and deliverable content. They must make advertising, sponsorship, endorsement, and other disclosures required by applicable law and platform rules.

Creators retain ownership where rights are not transferred or licensed. Brand usage rights are limited to the accepted deal terms.

Chozea’s permission to display your uploaded content is described in our Terms (Intellectual property and licenses). Chozea will not use your content in its own marketing outside the platform without your permission.

Creators must protect confidential campaign, product, business, and personal information. Fraud, harassment, illegal content, misleading claims, payment manipulation, and misuse of another user's information are prohibited.

If a brand and a creator first meet or connect through Chozea, and within 12 months of that first connection they agree to paid creator work together outside Chozea, the brand owes Chozea its standard 10% brand platform fee on the value of that work. Creators are not charged this fee. Contact details and social links are shared once a deal is active on Chozea so that work, payments and any disputes stay protected here.

Before work begins, eligible cancellation and refund rules apply. After work begins, the Brand Guarantee in our Refund Policy applies; other issues move to manual resolution. Creators should preserve communications and project records and follow the Dispute Policy.

Creators must complete required payout-account onboarding and keep their connected account eligible. Chozea does not store bank or identity-verification details collected directly by the payment processor. Creators are responsible for taxes and legal obligations relating to their income.

Your account is never removed automatically for being unfinished. Until your email is confirmed and your profile is complete, brands can't find or match with you. If either is still missing after 7 days, we send you a friendly reminder and a person at Chozea may review the account. Chozea may restrict or terminate creator access for fraud, safety concerns, unlawful conduct, repeated failure to meet obligations, policy breaches, or legal requirements. Existing accepted terms and transaction obligations remain enforceable as applicable.

Every campaign and deal states structured usage rights: usage type (organic only, paid ads, or both), duration (30 days, 90 days, 6 months, 12 months, or perpetual), whitelisting or Spark Ads (and for how many months), exclusivity (and for how many days), and whether raw footage is included. Usage starts when the work is approved and ends on the date shown on the completed deal.

Brands may not use content beyond the accepted usage rights. Extending usage requires a new paid agreement between the brand and creator. Chozea sends both sides a reminder 7 days before usage rights end.

If a brand asks for revisions beyond the agreed limit, asks for work outside the brief, or stops responding, you can report a problem from the project workspace before the work is approved. Chozea is notified, may pause the 7-day review window, and may release the payment, refund the brand, or close the report with a note both sides see.
